The Aqua Spa Float Center & Wellness Boutique in Oswego, NY is looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic Licensed Esthetician to work in our growing aesthetics department. You must be self-motivated and highly customer service oriented. You will be responsible for selling products as well as providing services within the scope of your license. Must be able to work independently as well as assist staff to provide the best possible care based on every client’s needs. Candidates will be responsible for promoting products and working to continually build our clientele.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service
- Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
- Provide consistent professional body or facial treatments in accordance with company protocols and accepted certification practices
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
- Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the company’s policies and procedures
Duties Include But Not Limited To:
- Facials
- Body contouring via Cryoskin
- Microneedling
- Education about cosmetic treatments and cosmetic products
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Possess the ability to work without direct supervision
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
- Ability to regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the company
- Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the company
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health and wellness, technical, or related field
- Previous spa experience
- Experience working with patrons
- Understanding of vendor relations
