AQUA SPA FLOAT CENTER COVID-19 RESPONSE

In accordance with current state and local guidelines, masks are optional for all guests and our staff at this time. Aqua Spa Float Center staff will continue the same rigorous cleaning protocols that we began since opening in November 2020. 

We will still conduct a quick health screening upon check in. Our staff will take temperatures and encourage guests to reschedule if they have a fever or are feeling any of the symptoms of Covid-19. Safety has always been and will continue to be our top priority and we will continue to offer the best possible experience for all guest’s safety and peace-of-mind.

 We encourage frequent hand sanitizing of guests and staff and will keep disinfecting surfaces, utilizing our state-of-the-art filtration and sanitation technology and our associates will continue to ensure all touchpoints are cleaned with a high-concentration H202 spray between every client.

Health & Wellness Checkpoints:

All clients and Aqua Spa associates are subject to a “wellness check” upon entry of our facility. This includes a temperature check. Employees and guests, who have a temperature over 100.0°F or are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 will not be allowed entry.

Employee & Guest Health Concerns:

Our employees have been given clear instructions on how to respond swiftly and report all presumed cases of COVID-19 in our facility. Employees are instructed to stay home if they do not feel well and are instructed to contact a manager if they notice a coworker or guest with a cough, shortness of breath, or other known symptoms of COVID-19. Employees and guests who are exhibiting any of the symptoms of COVID-19 while at the property are instructed to immediately notify their manager (employees) or any member of the staff (guests).

Laundry:

All facility laundry (towels, sheets, pillowcases, blankets, washcloths, robes, gloves, boots) is cleaned and sanitized according to CDC guidelines. Our items are washed with disinfecting agents like bleach and oxygen bleach.  All laundry is dried at the highest possible setting, we allow items to completely dry before handling, and we wear clean gloves when handling laundry.

Arrival:

Please arrive at your appointment at least 15 minutes early to allow for ample time for our safety procedures. A wellness ambassador will conduct a Health & Wellness check as outlined above. Please follow all directions and signage carefully. Appropriate signage will also be prominently displayed outlining our optional mask policy.

Cleaning & Sanitation:

Our center is thoroughly cleaned daily in high contact areas in addition to our daily practices of cleaning all surfaces and touchpoints in the common areas and modality rooms after every client. Our cleaning products and protocols meet EPA and Float Tank Association guidelines and are approved for effective use against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens.

  • Float Therapy

While our state-of-the-art filtration system by Superior Float Tanks ensures that our float tank water is always pristine (using Ozone, UV light and hydrogen peroxide), our associates will ensure all touchpoints inside the float tank and out are cleaned with a high-concentration H202 spray between every client (this includes tank buttons, walls, doors and handles, shower handles, benches and exterior door handles). After we carefully clean and sanitize the entire room, we replace float room items (towels and amenities) while wearing gloves and PPE. Our state-of-the-art HVAC system ensures optimal air flow in each room during and in between each session.

  • Cryotherapy

The dedicated cryotherapy changing room benches and door handles will be sanitized and cleaned thoroughly between every client. The cryotherapy room is also disinfected after every appointment. This includes the inside and outside of the chamber, handles, stairs, platforms and touchscreen panel. Our cryo-safe boots, gloves and robes are always thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after use.

  • Infrared Sauna

At this time, we are able to accommodate members of the same households for sauna use together. Our private sauna rooms encourage social distancing. Each sauna is cleaned inside and out and high touchpoint areas are sanitized after every use. This includes the interior tablet, radio, bench, backrest, floor mats and exterior handles and seating. 

  • Salt Therapy

While salt therapy has been shown to reduce the threat of bacteria and virus’ due to its antimicrobial properties, we will take extra precautions by social distancing. Our large salt room space provides distance and large barriers are between each guest. After each appointment, chairs, barriers and door handles are sanitized. 

  • Oxygen Bar

After every session, all touch points will be cleaned and all surfaces sanitized.
