Our friends at Oswego County News Now featured an exciting article about all the local businesses coming to East 1st Street. The former Oswego City School District Education Center is an attractive choice for local businesses in need of a location.
Having a spot overlooking the Oswego River helped sell business partners Tammy Wilkinson and Terri LeRoi on this beautiful location for their Aqua Spa Float Center and Wellness Boutique.
“It’s definitely key to have the float center on the water, which was a big hope for us to find that perfect spot,” said Wilkinson. “Having the float center here was kind of magical to us.”
LeRoi said the hope is to make the floor into “a high-end spa” to help “quiet the mind” from outside distractions.
The spa will have pods, cabins and open float isolation tanks in addition to a therapy and massage room to provide a whole experience, Wilkinson — who says she and her fiancé LeRoi are avid floaters.
“It’s an incredible and beneficial piece of our health regiment,” she said.
