The Aqua Spa Float Center is Expanding!
2022 Marks a new year of growth for Oswego’s newest Wellness Destination and Float Center. Owners Terry LeRoi and Tammy Wilkinson are adding Red Light Therapy, IV Drip Therapy and upgrading the Cryotherapy experience in the 6,500 square foot space.
Partners from Empire Contractors of CNY and Taylored Architecture Inc. PLLC have signed on to help the expansion projects. Renovations require bringing the teams back together to create a new space that will house a Red Light Therapy Suite.
Wilkinson explains that the innovative Red Light Therapy may help clients with pain management, inflammation stress and skin conditions.
“Terry (LeRoi) and I aspire to bring in new services that we thoroughly researched and experienced first-hand. And we’ve seen the benefits!” Wilkinson says. “Having been diagnosed with Lupus in 2008 I had experienced severe inflammation and pain in my body most days. I’m especially excited about this new modality.”
According to Wilkinson, Red Light Therapy is a treatment that boosts new cell growth and enhances cellular energy through the use of low wavelength red light that may also improve skin’s appearance—reducing wrinkles, scars, redness and acne.
According to LeRoi, many of the IV Drip Therapy Infusions he and Wilkinson have researched can boost immunity, enhance recovery and have beauty benefits. Plus, some have a cocktail of vitamins. Clients can choose which cocktail they would like to enjoy and a registered nurse will provide them with an infusion after a quick wellness screening.
LeRoi and Wilkinson also aspire to add a variety of injections such as B12 vitamin boost shots that can improve energy and stamina, improve sleep quality and duration, increase metabolism, improve mental clarity and balance the immune system.
“We’re especially excited to offer the NAD+ IV treatment.,” says LeRoi. “The NAD+ coenzyme plays a crucial role in many physiological functions like the metabolic process and DNA repair. As we age, our bodies’ NAD+ levels decline, which may contribute to the progression of various age-related degenerative diseases.”
To round-out the upgrades, Aqua Spa Float Center will unveil a full-body electric Cryotherapy machine. Cryotherapy, praised by athletes and celebrities, is seen as a quick recovery method from work-outs and inflammation.
Upgrades in 2022 thus far include the Salt Suite salt floor addition, massage chair visual experience and video testimonial station. The outdoor patio Whisper Room experience is also back by popular demand. Look for that shortly as weather permits.
