My husband and I did the couples float yesterday for our 30th Anniversary! We ABSOLUTELY loved it! We both felt so relaxed during and especially after! We both have arthritis and noticed remarkable differences in how we felt and that feeling has carried over into today! Everyone was friendly and explained everything to us very well! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend them! We also plan to check out the other services they have there! We spoke with Tammy and Terry and they are VERY welcoming and have much knowledge and helpful information to share! Their staff is also exceptional and very nice, too! I have been there twice now. I have been diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. I have been having a flare up. No more massages for me! An hour there lasts as long as a week with pain control. Love this place!!! If you haven’t checked it out you need to. Awesome staff and awesome experience. So relaxing. Float on folks!
Last weekend my spouse and I got to participate in the ultimate couples spa package from Aqua Spa and let me tell you it did not disappoint!!! Omg the atmosphere was so amazing, the vibes were chill, and the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we walked in. Jenny, who was our guide for the experience, was so friendly and sweet. Honestly, there isn’t a service that I wouldn’t recommend there! The chromotherapy infrared sauna was so nice and the float session was so relaxing! Then we went into these amazing massage chairs that massage everything including your arms, hands, calves, and feet! The salt rock room was more than I expected, they gave us a free beverage and we laid down relaxing in the salt room and it actually pumps out aerosol Himalayan salt into the air and you can see it in the air and it helps with asthma, allergies, and more! Afterwards we tried cryotherapy and I loved it! It got down to -130° and the max time you can go in is go in is 3 minutes and afterwards I felt so light and my inflammation was gone it was so cool (no pun intended ). We wrapped up our stay at the oxygen bar which was nice and aromatic, and then spent some time in their gorgeous whisper room while we enjoyed tea by the fireplace and just took in the experience. On the way out staff snapped these fun pictures of us. 1000/10 would definitely recommend!!
Aqua Spa Float Center & Wellness Boutique “reflection”:
I have been “plagued” for a few weeks now with at times a very painful shoulder issue. You see, I sleep so soundly that often I don’t move and wake up with pain from laying in the same position for so long. (Image that, a midlife woman who sleeps so soundly that she doesn’t move.. hmmm yes, my own wellness practices and programs work on me #practicewhatyoupreach ) One of my favorite positions is on my side, arms around my pillow. THIS is the one that put my shoulder out of whack (medical term, look it up).
Corn bag, hot shower, massage, Biofreeze, shoulder mobility work, Ibuprofen, no weightlifting–all just gave temporary relief. Sort of.
TODAY–TODAY did the trick! I started at the Oxygen Bar somewhat by chance, then, as planned, headed on to Cryotherapy, then a massage chair (not scheduled but a welcome addition to my day) and finished in the Infrared Sauna.
Upon exiting my Cryo session, I immediately noticed relief in my shoulder. By the time I left the spa I felt like I had a new shoulder.
I am a little afraid to go to bed for fear I might make it hurt again sleeping, but at least I know how to get some quick relief!
This is definitely a new segment of my self-care regimen and it should be part of yours, too.

After a massage chair and cryotherapy session – my back pain is gone!
I’ve had a really bad lower back and left hip. My dear friend Tammy Lynn Wilkinson suggested I try their massage chair. Within seconds, the pain was totally gone. It was like the chair knew exactly where the problem was and as I tell everyone it was like magic. My friend and I went together. What a wonderful experience it was. We not only had a fun time in the float pool, we had a lot of laughs. Such things weren’t around when we were younger. When we left we were refreshed in two ways both mentally and physically. I have fibromyalgia and she has bad arthritis. We both felt better after and Can’t wait to go again.
I have Fibromyalgia and the float was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved it! Nice having the primp room to dry my hair, etc. The quiet room was an excellent addition to the experience. Had some water and sat by the fire in a very cool hanging chair. Looking forward to my sauna and salt therapy session next week.
It was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve had. I have not felt that present in a very long time. Both Ed and I slept great… which doesn’t happen often for me. I did wake up with my normal pain and a pretty intense headache. However, Ed felt great! It was his first day back to work after vacation… and he is having a great pain-free day. And he wants to float again…. this makes me happy. I am thinking, for me, it may take multiple floats to get some relief from my pain. I purchased a membership today and am excited for this new journey! I cannot thank you enough for bringing this to Oswego. You both should be so proud. Your hard work, perseverance and love for others is about to shine! Oswego is surrounded by water…. it only seems fitting for our city to have a full service Aqua Spa! Thank you! Thank you!
Had the most amazing experience last night at the Aqua Spa. What an incredible place. The float experience was a level of relaxing that I cannot really describe in words. 60 minutes of gravity-free bliss. No body aches, no racing mind, just simply being still. It was divine. You should absolutely try it. Thank you Tammy Wilkinson for opening up the place for us, and being such a gracious host. It is amazing that we have this right in Oswego!
I had the most amazing experience. What a beautiful spa. The staff is so knowledgeable and pleasant. The owners are just PERFECTION. The fine details are simply astonshing. I did my very first float last night. It was about 10 mins into the float I started to get emotional. I felt a Relief of pain from my body that I haven’t felt since 2002. It’s hard to put into words how I felt as I was floating because each minute that went by I wanted to get up and scream with excitement. I chose to continue to lay there and pray as good as I was feeling please God let me feel this way when I get out of here. Once I got out of the tank I was so pleasantly surprised that I still was feeling pain free. It was a very emotional moment for me. Brought me to tears of joy. I can’t thank these two amazing people for the opportunity as well as bringing something so wonderful to our community. Please do yourselves a favor and go experience this beautiful place. P.S. it’s the next day and I am feeling like a new woman.
It was sooooooo nice! Absolutely stunning!!!! It will be one of nicest spas I’ve ever been in!! I can’t wait for everyone to try this salt float! It felt like heaven to not feel any pain in my body. It was amazing! A mom’s true get away for an hour of pure peace and relaxation! I could not believe how wonderful it felt to be weightless and not feel any aches or pains! Had a chance to check out Aqua Spa tonight. The float experience was rejuvenating and restful. This beautiful facility is gong to be a gift to Oswego. If you compete, have soreness or a lot of stress you need to check them out!
I recently had the privilege to try floating at the Aqua Spa Float Center & Wellness Boutique. My body loved it and was incredibly relaxed in the zero-gravity experience, my brain however was a little slower to catch on but eventually, I was able to calm my mind. After, I felt better than I have in an awfully long time, aches and pains were gone. I look forward to floating again soon!
Thank you Terry, Tammy and Aqua Spa staff for a wonderful experience last night! The float suite was great! I felt like I was light as a feather, relaxed and with no worries for 1 hour! The staff was very nice and well informed and answered any questions I had. I felt great when I left the spa and I had a very restful nights sleep! The thing I noticed the most is when I got up this morning was my body wasn’t stiff and achy! Absolutely amazing! I’ll definitely be back! Thanks again! You guys rock!
In 2013 I had a brain tumor removed that ultimately saved my life, since this time I have had daily head pain (to be expected) but last night as I was floating I felt almost like a snap start in my neck and travel up to the top of my head where the surgery took place, the amount of pain relief that it instantly gave me was astonishing. I feel like my eyes are more open, my range of motion is better and my overall aura is better. I’ve only been this one time (so far) but I’m so excited to see where else this amazing place and people can take me, on this journey of helping my mind, body, and soul heal.
